Cost-Effective Upgrades to Avoid Unnecessary Down Time
We offer two main types of scraper blades: the standard, flat edge scraper blade, and the premium pre-honed scraper blade. The standard blade effectively wipes ink off the design roll, and can be honed manually with a sharpening stone by a trained operator. The pre-honed scraper blade performs longer with less risk of damaging the design roll. These blades have a sharper edge for maximum ink wiping, while reducing the risk of scratching or etch-damaging expensive design rolls. This is a cost-effective measure to promote overall machine health, and avoid unnecessary down time to sharpen a traditional blade.
